The Prosecutor represents the People of the State of Michigan in criminal prosecution of violations of State law and County ordinances; represents petitioners in neglect and delinquency proceedings in Juvenile Court, appears in Probate Court on mental health petitions; represents the interests of the public and minor children in domestic relations cases including establishing paternity, child support orders; and assisting the Friend of the Court to obtain modification of domestic relations orders and acts as civil counsel for the County and County agencies.
