Barry County Land Information Services manages the County's geographic data and provides mapping and GIS services. We also provide a variety of custom solutions to County departments and local partners.

FetchGIS is the primary portal for accessing Barry County GIS data, including parcel information and many other layers.

Services

Data analysis: The GIS department uses geographic data to perform analysis and generate reports for other county departments. For example, the department could use data on population demographics to help the county planning department make informed decisions about land use.

Spatial data management: The GIS department manages and maintains the county's spatial data, including data relating to infrastructure, property, and other geographic features.

GIS training: The GIS department provides training to other county departments on how to use GIS software and tools to analyze and visualize data.

Web mapping: The GIS department creates interactive web maps for other county departments to use or for public access.

Custom mapping: The GIS department creates maps to meet the specific needs of other county departments, such as maps showing land use, zoning, tax parcels, or transportation networks.
