The Barry County Parks & Recreation Commission invites Municipalities and Barry County Schools to apply for a grant through the 2021 Local Unit Mini-Grant program. The purpose of the Barry County Parks & Recreation Commission grant funding program is to promote opportunities to improve public recreation facilities, activities and equipment within Barry County. Although non-profit organizations are not eligible to apply, they are encouraged to work with municipalities or schools on grant proposals.
The Barry County Parks and Recreation Commission will be awarding $15,000 in grants increments from $500-$15,000. Grant awards of more than $2,000 require a 25% cash match.
The deadline to apply for these grants is JUNE 4, 2021. Applications must be received by June 4, 2021 not postmarked.
