The District 7 Extension Advisory Council is a group of individuals selected to collectively provide advice, direction and support to Michigan State University Extension. Membership represents the counties of Allegan, Barry, Kent and Ottawa. Extension’s goal is to serve the citizens of each district with educational information and programs which meet the needs of their community. Council members each have different backgrounds and networks of influence in the district, which provides the diversity of representation that is essential to Extension’s educational efforts. Only the Barry County Commissioner is listed on the roster.
