Historic Charlton Park

cplogo.jpgRaining?

Visit the Historic Village and Museum, open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Be sure to see “The Test of a Nation, the Honor of a County” Civil War exhibit.

Can’t make the trip, take the tour!

Sunny?

Try a picnic and a hike in the 298 acre Recreation Area then a swim and some sun on the sandy beach of Thornapple Lake. A boat launch provides access to the 409 acre lake and Thornapple River for great fishing and water sports.

Bored?

Goats bleating, deer grunting, gun fire, rumbling hot rods, Indian drums, music, story telling and clanging armor are just some of the sounds of our Special Events.

Volunteer and help us provide quality programs and services for our visitors!

Need Space?

Hold a Private Event in one of our pavilions or get married in our church. We host from one to ten thousand guests on a given day!
