Lifeline Assistance

The COA and Pennock Health Services have formed a partnership offering a Lifeline discount for seniors currently receiving in-home care or Meals on Wheels.

Lifeline is a personal response service that is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. When help is needed, a button is pushed on a pendant or wristband and within seconds a certified Lifeline professional responds by telephone, assesses the situation and summons appropriate help. If you currently are receiving COA services and your income is below $1,805 per month, the COA will pay your $50 Lifeline installation cost and $10 per month towards your Pennock Health Services Lifeline subscription.

If you (or a family member) qualify for this service and would like to sign up, please contact the COA or Gale Kragt at Pennock Health Services at (269) 948-3363.

This monthly discount and installation fee payment are made possible through funding from the Barry County Senior Millage.
