Summary
Various labor related jobs to include but not limited to: Patching, Flagging, Mowing, Brush Cutting, Washing Trucks, Restoration, Janitor, Crack Seal Crew, Seal Coating Crew, Sign Work, Drainage Crew, Sweeping.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Directs movement of traffic through site using sign, hand, and flag signals.
- Warns construction workers when approaching vehicle fails to heed signals to prevent accident and injury to workers.
- Informs drivers of detour routes through construction sites.
- Records license numbers of traffic control violators for police.
- Prune trees and cut brush.
- Load materials onto vehicle and install strapping to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
- Shovel loose materials such as sand, gravel, blacktop, topsoil, etc.
- Help erect and repair guardrail and highway markers.
- Drive truck to transport crew, equipment, or materials to work site.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees in the organization.
Mathematical Skills
The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

A valid drivers license

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Wages and Employment Requirements
Starting hourly pay range will be $11- $13 per hour, no benefits. Applicant must be at least 18 years of age, have
a valid Driver’s License, and be able to pass a drug test. Start date is negotiable and work hours would be Monday-Friday 6AM- 4 PM.
