What qualifies a citizen to be a juror?
- You must be a resident in Barry County
- You must be 18 years of age or older
- You must no longer be attending high school
- You must not have been convicted of a felony
- You must be a US Citizen
- You must speak and understand the English language
If you meet all of the requirements above, you are eligible to serve as a juror for Jury Duty. The court system is open to working with individuals who may have conflicts with the jury schedule or for other personal reasons. Please visit the
Jury Excuse Form for information regarding these matters. You are welcome to submit your reasoning and documentation through completing this form. The Jury Coordinator will be in touch with you within 5 to 7 business days.
