The Barry County Prosecutor’s Office represents the People of the State of Michigan in criminal prosecutions of violations of State law and County ordinances; represents petitioners in neglect and delinquency proceedings in Juvenile Court, appears in Probate Court on mental health petitions; represents the interests of the public and minor children in domestic relations cases including establishing paternity, child support orders and assisting the Friend of the Court to obtain modification of domestic relations orders and acts as civil counsel for the County and County agencies.
