The Court’s Home Detention Program is a pre-adjudicatory program, which provides services to youth who have committed more serious offenses and/or who are at risk of removal from the home. The Home Detention Program provides an alternative to placement in a detention facility by providing intensive supervision, structure, and strict rules to follow. The Home Detention Caseworker not only works with the youth, but also provides services to the family. The goal of the Home Detention Program is to alleviate the need for out-of-home placement by assisting the youth and their families in working towards a happier, healthier, and more successful future.
