Enforcement

Enforcement is action taken by the Friend of the Court to ensure compliance of the courts order. Enforcement actions can be started manually, upon request, or automatically by the Michigan Child Support Enforcement System. (MiCSES)

The MiCSES computer system is owned by the State of Michigan and federally mandated. The system is used statewide by Friends of the Court, Prosecuting Attorneys, and the Department of Human Resources. All Friend of the Court office’s use this program as mandated by federal regulations and the State of Michigan policy.
