Mission

MISSION

The mission of the Barry County Trial Court is to facilitate the efficient use of judges, court personnel and other resources; to promote understanding, communication, and cooperation within the court and with stakeholders and to enhance the delivery of court services.

VISION

Barry County was the first Trial Court pilot project designated by the Michigan Supreme Court in 1996, and had the first Concurrent Jurisdiction Plan approved by the Michigan Supreme Court in 2004. The Barry County Trial Court has been recognized by the Michigan Supreme Court for excellence in court management and case flow, and through strong leadership and skilled staff, the Court consistently provides innovative, efficient, and professional services, using state-of-the-art technology to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, and providing comprehensive public education regarding court functions.
