Marriages

A district court judge or a magistrate may perform marriages within the district for which he or she serves. Marriage ceremonies are performed only at the court location.                                                

Three requirements you must bring with you:

  • 1) A valid State of Michigan marriage license
  • 2) Two witnesses – a witness must be at least 18 years old.
  • 3) A $10.00 cash fee
                                                 

                                                       

Anyone who wishes to be married at the 56-B District Court will need to call ahead for an appointment.
