ICS-100 For Emergency Responders:

All Federal, State, territorial, tribal, private sector and nongovernmental personnel at the following levels of responsibility in emergency management operations – first-line supervisor (Sergeant/Lieutenant), mid-level management (Captain/Shift Commander) and command (Battalion Chief/Division Chief/ District Commander/PIO) and general staff (Operations/Planning/Logistics/Finance-Admin).* To obtain the ICS-100 course materials or take the course online go to http://www.barrycounty.org/wp-admin/NIMS ICS-100

ICS-200 For Emergency Responders:

ICS-300 For Emergency Responders:

Barry County Emergency Management Department will be holding ICS-300 training during late July and early August for select Emergency Responders.  This course is required in order to maintain elegibility for certain Federal/State funding. The ICS-300 course is 20-hours in length — and prerequisites to this ICS-300 are the ICS-100 and ICS-200 (online) courses. The Michigan State Police (517-322-6515) can assist you in finding an appropriate instructor/location in the event that you do not take advantage of the BCEMD’s training for ICS-300.

This requirement is for: Command Staff, Section Chiefs, Strike Team Leaders, Task Force Leaders, Unit Leaders, Division/Goup Supervisors, Branh Directors, and Multi-Agency Coordination System/Emergency Operations Center Staff.
